Now, in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, this Fighting- and Flying-type star returns with a brand-new spotlight—its Mega Evolution. The latest trailer reveals Mega Hawlucha in all its glory: flexed muscles, signature Flying Press, and a whole new level of power. Thanks to Mega Evolution, Hawlucha not only bulks up its bodacious style but also gains the resilience to withstand punishing blows, never missing a chance to play to the crowd. The trailer even teases the ultimate clash of champions: Mega Hawlucha versus Machamp.
Fans craving even more lucha libre action are in for a treat. Pokémon is teaming up with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) for the Pokémon Legends: Z-A × CMLL event—a celebration of Mexico’s world-famous wrestling tradition.
The event takes place on 26 September 2025 at 01:00 UTC (7:00 p.m. CST local time) at Arena México in Mexico City. Tickets will be available soon via Ticketmaster, and the spectacle will also be streamed live on CMLL’s official YouTube channel so fans across the globe can join in.
